She served sixteen years as a senior intelligence officer and investigator at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). Huda acted as the CSIS liaison officer at the Communications Security Establishment (CSEC) and the Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre (ITAC), widening her experience to key national security agencies. Huda also contributed to operations and provided training to Five Eyes intelligence agencies and various global security and law enforcement organizations. More recently, Huda served as a senior strategic national security advisor for the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA).
